The Noblesville gymnastics team easily won a dual meet at Franklin Central Thursday night, scoring 98.575 to the Flashes’ 93.975.
The Millers’ Makayla Kauzlick won the all-around competition with a score of 34.85. The freshman won three of the four individual events, taking the uneven bars in 8.95, the balance beam in 8.675 and the floor exercise in 8.625. Kauzlick’s bars score was the highest Noblesville score of the night.
“Makayla is doing a great job on bars and is very consistent as we are always able to count on her score for the team,” said Millers coach Jody Ramey.
Noblesville had four gymnasts score over 8.00 on both the vault and the floor. Devyn Palmer was second in the floor competition with an 8.525, a season-high for her.
“All Lady Miller gymnasts did wonderful on floor today and I was very proud all of the ladies’ floor routines,” said Ramey.
Olivia Mangin placed third in the all-around with a score of 31.95.
“Overall, we had a great performance tonight and I was very proud of all the competing gymnasts for the team tonight,” said Ramey.
Noblesville will have its Senior Night meet on Monday, hosting Marion and Scecina at Noblesville East Middle School. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
