Elizabeth Raley, 94, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Brookdale Castleton in Indianapolis. She was born on October 21, 1923 to James and Carrie (Davis) Warren in Capels, W.V.
Elizabeth was a 1941 graduate of Western High School in Detroit and worked at Packard Motor Company during the war. She retired in 1984 after 32 years as a kitchen manager for the public school system of Roseville, Mich. Elizabeth moved to Noblesville in 1984 to be close to family. She was very crafty and a great cook, and she enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Elizabeth loved the Lord and was very dedicated to her church, Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Most of all, she loved her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Wayne Raley (Lou); grandchildren, Alena Raley Faith (Joshua) and Justin Raley (Sarah); and five great-grandchildren, Lillian Faith, Mekenzi Faith, Wesley Faith, Scarlett Raley and Urban Roarks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Raley Jr. in 2010; and sisters, Ora Williams and Ruby June Christianson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Walker officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
