James Gregory Blevins, 61, Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on March 12, 1956 to James Robert and Thelma Gladys (Smith) Blevins in Lafayette. His father precedes him in death.
James was a department manager at Kroger. He was a huge sports enthusiast and Cubs fan, and he enjoyed playing softball.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two children, Adam (Megan) Blevins and Amy Burger; two sisters, Jennifer Blevins and Barbara (Chuck) Traviolia; grandchildren, Billy, Gunnar, Peyton and Colton Blevins; and a niece, Amber Kincaid.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with Father Coady Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens in Lafayette.
