Hamilton County is pleased to announce that the installation of lighting along the bridge carrying 146th Street over US 31 will be complete on Friday, Feb. 9.

“Due to the great amount of public input and support, we were very pleased to make this project a priority and facilitate the effort to add lighting to the 146th Street bridge over US 31. This project was an excellent example of cooperation between Hamilton County, the City of Carmel, the City of Westfield and INDOT to meet the needs of the public,” said County Commissioner Christine Altman.
Hamilton County was responsible for the funding of the engineering and construction, while the cities of Carmel and Westfield will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the installed lighting.
