Carmel won its Senior Night game on Tuesday, taking care of Cathedral 71-54 at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds led 23-14 after the first quarter and steadily increased their lead from there, going up 40-26 at halftime. Amy Dilk scored 23 points Carmel, while Tomi Taiwo added 16 points.
Blake Smith scored eight points and pulled eight rebounds, with Reagan Hune also adding eight points. Jasmine McWilliams collected seven rebounds, and Dilk got six rebounds, in addition to six assists and three blocked shots.
The Greyhounds are now 21-2 and travel to Ben Davis on Friday to finish the regular season.
