The popular 130-year-old snack, Cracker Jack, is well-known for those great prizes included in the boxes since 1912. Prizes, old boxes, advertising, baseball cards, premiums and other related items have made collecting Cracker Jack items an enjoyable hobby and an easy way to stay connected with one’s childhood.

From Aug. 16 through 19, members of the Cracker Jack Collectors Association (CJCA) will gather at the Embassy Suites North off Michigan Road (3912 Vincennes Drive) in Indianapolis to trade, buy, sell, and talk about all things Cracker Jack. Saturday afternoon, Aug. 19, the CJCA sales room will be open to the public from 1 to 3 p.m. in Embassy Suites Barcelona Room B for all Cracker Jack collectors who want to start a collection or add to their personal Cracker Jack collections. Members will offer all kinds of Cracker Jack collectibles for sale.

Cracker Jack collecting is a popular hobby, with thousands of diverse item listings available on eBay, plus other websites.

The Cracker Jack Collectors Association was formed in 1994 by a group of collectors throughout the U.S. who shared an interest in collecting Cracker Jack prizes and memorabilia, along with researching and preserving the history of the American company and its unique products, prizes, and promotions.
