The Noblesville swim teams split a dual meet at Brownsburg on Saturday.
The Miller girls lost 99-87, but won eight of the 11 events. Caitlin Marshall, Sammy Huff and Jordan Cooley were double winners: Marshall triumphed in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Huff paced the individual medley and 100 free, while Cooley won the butterfly and backstroke races.
All three girls swam on Noblesville’s first-place medley and 400 free relays, with Abby Harvey the fourth swimmer on the medley and Brianna McBride joining the 400 free.
The Miller boys ran away with their meet 122-64, sweeping nine events. Jack Wolfred, Evan Diamente and Cameron Kramer each picked up two victories.
Wolfred was first in the 200 and 100 freestyles, while Diamente won the 50 free and the butterfly events. Kramer took the IM and the 500 free. Again, all three swimmers were part of Noblesville’s winning freestyle relays, with Lawson Crum the fourth swimmer on the 200 free and Jakob Janson joining the 400 free. Nick Beeson was first in the backstroke.
