Westfield Washington Schools & ISU partner to offer MBA program

Hamilton County residents can now obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in person and close to home starting this fall through a new partnership between Westfield Washington Schools and Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business.

Indiana State is now accepting applications for its first in-person cohort of Professional MBA students at Westfield Washington Schools. Classes will be held in-person on Thursday evenings at Westfield Washington Schools’ Central Office and led by an Indiana State Scott College of Business faculty member.

“The Scott College of Business is committed to providing a distinct student-centered education in our Professional MBA program that combines world-class faculty with individualized career development and coaching to help professionals advance in business,” said Terry Daugherty, Ph.D., Dean of the Scott College of Business at Indiana State University. “Strong community collaborations make this possible and we are proud to serve the Indianapolis area.”

The Indiana State Professional MBA program at Westfield is a 21-month, in-person cohort-based program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACBS)-International. The program is developed specifically to meet the needs and goals of central Indiana career professionals who are balancing work and family responsibilities, with classes conveniently located in Hamilton County, with meals provided on class nights, and with Indiana State managing much of the administrative work, including assisting with registration and textbook delivery.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Indiana State University to offer our local communities a chance to continue their professional development at such a high level right here at home,” said Lindsay Tomamichel, Director of College, Careers and Strategic Initiatives for Westfield Washington Schools. “With the state’s fastest growing cities and many professionals looking to advance their career in Hamilton County, we know that this partnership will be beneficial to our county’s workforce development and economic stability for many years to come.”
