Mary Miketchuk, 94, Carmel, passed away quietly Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born in DuQuoin, Ill., on September 26, 1923.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rose Licata; husband, Nick Miketchuk, twin sister, “Kay” Pekarek; and brothers, Ben, John, Tom and Tony Licata.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Body and husband, Tom of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Robert Jeffrey Kirk and wife, Kelly of Summersville, S.C., Michelle Abeln and husband, Clint of Athens, Ill., and great-granddaughter, Haley Abeln.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living, 301 Executive Drive, Carmel.
