We don’t know them all, but we owe them all

All members of the United States Armed Forces who served 1955 to 1975 and their families are invited to attend “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans” on Wednesday, June 21 at the American Legion Post #46, 129 N. Independence St., Tipton.

The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., and attendees may come and go at their leisure.

The mission of Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans is to honor, remember, and thank all the men, women, and their families who served in the United States Armed Forces from 1955 to 1975.

“When our Vietnam era Veterans came home, they did not get the ‘Welcome Home’ they deserved,” said Gary Green, event organizer. “We hope to provide that ‘Welcome Home’ with a token of our appreciation and remembrance.”

This event is for any Veteran in the 1955 to 1975 era of service no matter where or how they served. Gifts will be presented to each Veteran, and refreshments will be provided.
