On Friday, April 10, Riverview Health discharged Gerald Hyndman, a 91-year-old Vietnam and Korean war veteran, who recently beat COVID-19. He was admitted to Riverview Health on March 10 after testing positive for COVID-19. He spent 10 days on Med/Surg and in ICU. He was eventually moved to Acute Rehab where his stay was extended another 10 days. Hyndman beat all odds, and after testing negative for the virus, was able to go home to spend Easter weekend with his family.
