Approximately 200 people rode the Nickel Plate Express all the way back to 1920 last weekend. In the year of two constitutional amendments, one passing prohibition and one granting women the right to vote, there was dinner, dancing, and murder on this ride. Our killer was a woman whose husband died by drowning in a vat of chocolate in downtown Indianapolis (he MAY have had ties to a certain family organization in Chicago). On this ride, our victim was poisoned and died face-down in her own birthday cake.
