The Westfield Lions Club Poker for Sight tournament is back.
On Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, one of the largest charity Texas Hold’em tournaments in the nation will take place.
Each Poker for Sight tournament has a guaranteed purse of $25,000 with $10,000 going to the winner. Players from around the nation will vie for the cash.
Qualification rounds begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, with a second round at 6 p.m. A third round will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. The Championship round will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Only the top 15 percent of the players from each round will qualify for the Championship. The Lions have a reputation for conducting one of the best-run poker tourneys.

At the door the buy-in is $135, but the event is close to being a sellout, so players are encouraged to register early to ensure a seat at the table. The top 25 players in the Championship round will receive a cash prize, and remember, $10,000 to the winner.
