236th Street, Anthony Road closed through November

Effective on or after Tuesday, July 16, 236th Street will be closed from U.S. 31 to Deming Road and Anthony Road will be closed from 226th Street to 246th Street. These closures are scheduled for 138 calendar days, tentatively opening back up to traffic Nov. 30, 2024. Please follow the signed detour routes for each road closure. All individual property owners within the project limits will continue to have access to their property.

    According to INDOT on June 17th,
    “Thank you for contacting the Indiana Department of Transportation. We appreciate you reaching out to us with your questions about the road closure signs on S.R. 19. This closure is scheduled for the week of July 22nd and will be a two day closure. INDOT maintenance will be replacing pipe crossings in this area. “.
